Transpak is a family-owned company established in
1954 as a manufacturer of cellophane bags originally in the name of the
founder Alexander Klein, and later incorporated under the name
Transparent Packaging Pty. Ltd.

Transpak pioneered many of the developments in the packaging industry including polypropylene bags for hosiery and textiles, the sealable flap for plastic mailing envelopes and courier bags, and the singlet bags now universally used as check-out bags.

Transpak also provides printed film for machine wrapping magazines and direct-mail, and bags with reclosable or permanent tape seals for textiles, stationery, or tamper-evident security applications.
